Day 6: For our last full day, I scheduled a dive trip to Turneffe Atoll, which is about an hour boat trip south-east from Caye Caulker. It's the east ridge if the mountain chain that is the Belize barrier reef and cayes, about 10 miles wide and 30 miles long.

After El Pilar, we started around another unpaved road from Santa Elana, through San Antonio, past the Green Hills Butterfly Farm, and around to Georgeville. Only short spans of it through towns was paved. It was more slow bumpy going.

I visited a couple state parks during my last trip to Orlando, Florida. At Wekiwa Springs State Park, I took a walk on a great nature trail that went through some of Florida's "wilderness".
